Mental Health

Support our campaign to support people with mental health issues.

Since the establishment of our organisation, we have tried our best to provide mental health facilities to young people and the elderly alike.

It has been observed that one person out of every four people experiences a mental health problem of some kind on a yearly basis in England which is quite an alarming situation as mental problems can not only have a significant impact on one’s personal and professional life but it also affects those in their immediate surroundings in one way or another.

Unfortunately, many groups in the UK including the elderly, people from the BAME community or an underprivileged social class, etc, are at a disadvantage when it comes to accessing mental health services.

National Care Trust aims to help these people who are most in need of mental health well-being programmes and cannot access them without external support. We want to make sure that these people can connect with others in their community and feel like an essential part of it instead of feeling isolated, misunderstood, and abandoned.

In order to work effectively towards this goal, National Care Trust recently collaborated with a community faith centre in Bedfordshire to provide mental health support and counselling to those elderly people who had fallen a prey to isolation and loneliness and their only way of interacting with others was to visit their community faith centre to meet others. We provided them expert counselling services which not only made them aware of the opportunities that they have to play their role as an integral part of their community but also helped them to feel a sense of purpose again by guiding them as to how they can engage themselves in worthwhile and constructive activities to feel more fulfilled and connected.

We aim to work on similar projects for the mental well-being and welfare of these vulnerable groups among others so that they can not only have better mental health but they are also able to contribute to the society after developing and improving themselves individually.

Please donate to help us initiate such projects for more groups throughout the UK and save them from the grave consequences of mental distress, isolation and loneliness, depression, and worse mental conditions because your help can not only save someone’s mental health but their life in this case.
